DRDO Successfully Conducts Three Tests of 4th Generation VSHORADS Missile at Pokhran

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) of India has successfully conducted three flight tests of the 4th Generation Very Short Range Air Defence System (VSHORADS) missile at the Pokhran Field Firing Ranges in Rajasthan. The advanced, miniaturized weapon system was tested in a series of trials against high-speed aerial targets, demonstrating the repeatability of its hit-to-kill capability in various target engagements. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the DRDO, the Indian Army, and industry partners involved in the development. The successful tests mark a significant boost in India's defence capabilities against aerial threats.
