'Doom: The Dark Ages' Prequel Set in Medieval Setting Announced for 2025 Release

Id Software has announced 'Doom: The Dark Ages,' a prequel to the 2016 'DOOM' game, set in a medieval dark fantasy realm. The game will explore the origin story of the DOOM Slayer's rage. It is scheduled for release in 2025 and will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game will also be accessible on Game Pass from day one. The announcement was made during Xbox’s big June showcase event. Bethesda Softworks provided a first look at the game.
