VisitDOJ Releases 266-Page Transcript of Interview with Biden's Ghostwriter Mark Zwonitzer in Classified Docs Probe
Jun 13, 2024, 04:01 PM
The Department of Justice (DOJ) has released a transcript of an interview conducted by Special Counsel Robert Hur with President Biden's ghostwriter, Mark Zwonitzer, as part of an investigation into Biden's handling of classified documents. The 266-page transcript, obtained via a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, reveals that Biden allegedly retained classified materials as a private citizen and gave them to Zwonitzer, who later attempted to destroy them. Zwonitzer admitted to deleting evidence due to the Special Counsel investigation. The transcript also indicates that Biden shared the classified documents with Zwonitzer to assist in writing a book that earned $8 million. Despite these revelations, neither Biden nor Zwonitzer has been charged for their actions. Garrett Ziegler of MarcoPolo501c3 commented on the situation, highlighting the lack of charges against Zwonitzer.
