This decision comes amid concerns over ballot access in Ohio and aims to secure Biden's nomination before the party's national convention in August. The DNC will train state party chairs on electronic voting, with the voting process likely to open on July 29 and conclude by August 5. Despite some internal turmoil, the DNC has determined that no virtual voting will begin before August 1, as stated in a letter sent Wednesday, and the formal nomination is expected to occur by the first week of August.
