The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is investing a first of its kind $2 million in 11 non-battleground state parties to target down-ballot races and boost voter registration efforts. This initiative marks a strategic move to strengthen the party's presence in areas traditionally considered safe for Republicans. Among the states benefiting from this funding, Texas Democrats have received a $140,000 grant specifically for voter registration and get-out-the-vote (GOTV) operations.
