VisitDJI Sues Pentagon Over Blacklisting as Chinese Military Company
Oct 19, 2024, 03:54 AM
On Friday, China-based drone maker DJI, the world's largest drone manufacturer, filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Defense, challenging its inclusion on the Pentagon's Chinese Military Companies (CMC) sanctions list. The company argues that the designation, which labels it as working with Beijing's military, is incorrect and has caused significant financial harm. DJI contends that it does not work with the Chinese military and is seeking to overturn the blacklisting, which was made without proper engagement over the past 16 months.
