VisitDisney to Stop Using Salesforce-Owned Slack by End of Year After Data Breach

Disney plans to transition away from its use of Salesforce-owned Slack as a companywide workplace collaboration system after a hacking entity stole and leaked online more than a terabyte of company data. The hack involved 44 million messages from Disney's Slack, including unreleased projects and sensitive communications. The company aims to stop using Slack in most of its businesses by the end of this year. This decision follows a data breach that occurred in July, WSJ reports.
