Disney ($DIS) is nearing a deal to combine its Hulu + Live TV service with FuboTV ($FUBO), creating the second-largest digital pay-TV provider in the U.S., behind YouTube. The new venture would see Disney owning 70% of the combined entity, with FuboTV holding the remaining stake. As part of the agreement, FuboTV plans to drop its legal claims related to Venu Sports. This move is expected to enhance the competitive landscape of online live TV services.
