VisitDisney and Paramount Pledge $16 Million for Southern California Wildfire Relief Amid 11 Deaths

The Walt Disney Company has committed $15 million to relief and rebuilding efforts in response to the devastating wildfires in Southern California, which have resulted in 11 deaths. The funds will support organizations such as the American Red Cross, the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. CEO Bob Iger emphasized Disney's commitment to supporting the community and its employees, many of whom have been affected by the fires. Additionally, Disney plans to provide further resources to its Employee Relief Fund to assist those facing hardships due to the crisis. Paramount Global has also pledged $1 million to various relief organizations to aid in the firefighting and relief efforts.
