Jan 14, 2025, 01:13 PM
DirecTV has launched a new sports-focused streaming service called MySports, available in 24 metro areas across the U.S. The service offers access to over 40 sports and broadcast channels, including ESPN, Fox Sports, and networks from the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB, for $69.99 per month. Customers signing up before February 28, 2025, can receive the service for $49.99 per month for the first three months. MySports does not currently include CBS, but DirecTV is in discussions to add the network. The launch follows the recent closure of Venu Sports, a sports streaming venture by Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery, indicating a shift towards more targeted streaming packages in the industry.
