VisitDike Breach in Xintang Village, Hunan, Forces Evacuation of Over 3,832 Residents

A dike breach occurred in the Juanshui River in Xintang Village, Xiangtan County, central China's Hunan Province, at about 8 p.m. on Sunday. Local authorities reported that more than 3,832 residents have been evacuated, and no casualties have been reported. The breach, which widened to 77 meters by 3:58 a.m. on Monday, has mobilized 200 professionals and 110 pieces of equipment for rescue efforts.
