Diamond Sports Seeks Court Approval for FanDuel Rebranding Deal of Bally Sports

Bankrupt sports broadcaster Diamond Sports Group is seeking court permission to re-brand its network of Bally Sports local channels to FanDuel under a naming rights deal with the betting giant. The agreement would allow FanDuel to take over the branding from Bally Sports, with FanDuel potentially owning up to 10% of the new regional sports network company. The rebranding could take place as soon as next week, according to a Diamond Sports' bankruptcy motion filed in US court.
