Diamond Sports Rebrands Bally Sports Channels as FanDuel Sports Network Starting Oct. 21

Diamond Sports Group, the bankrupt parent company of Bally Sports regional networks, has announced a naming rights deal with betting giant FanDuel. With court approval secured, Bally Sports networks will rebrand as FanDuel Sports Network starting October 21, integrating FanDuel's branding across its channels and applications. The partnership allows FanDuel to potentially acquire up to a 10% equity stake in the reorganized company. Additionally, FanDuel TV content will be incorporated into the regional sports networks. The rebranding affects channels across the NBA, NHL, and MLB, including Bally Sports Florida and Bally Sports Detroit, which will become FanDuel Sports Network Florida and FanDuel Sports Network Detroit, respectively. The deal aims to boost revenue as Diamond Sports Group exits Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
