Denmark to Deliver 18 Ukrainian Howitzers Within Months, Allocates $180 Million for Arms Production

Denmark is set to deliver the first batch of 18 Ukrainian 155mm Bohdana howitzers to the Ukrainian military. This delivery is part of a larger initiative where Denmark will allocate 1.2 billion Danish kroner (approximately $180 million) from its Ukraine Fund for arms purchases from the Ukrainian defense industry. The funding will specifically sponsor the production of these 18 self-propelled howitzers. Denmark's support marks the first instance of a NATO country directly financing Ukrainian arms production. The artillery units are expected to be delivered within the coming months.
