VisitDelta Prime DeFi on Arbitrum Suffers $6M Loss After Admin Key Leak
Sep 16, 2024, 07:42 AM
Delta Prime, a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform on the Arbitrum network, has suffered a significant security breach resulting in the loss of nearly $6 million. The incident occurred due to a leak of the admin's private key, allowing the attacker to gain control and upgrade the proxy to a malicious contract. The breach initially resulted in a $4.5 million loss, which has since increased to approximately $6 million. The stolen funds are still held at the address 0xd550cfeA0BFFDC81B2dEe7B6d915D9D9e31d83A2. Security researchers, including Cyvers Alerts, have noted that the attack may be linked to North Korean IT workers involved in similar frauds earlier this year.
