Delhi Police Busts International Organ Transplant Racket with Bangladesh Links, Apollo Doctor Arrested

Delhi Police Crime Branch has arrested seven individuals, including a doctor, in connection with an international organ transplant racket. The racket, which involved links to Bangladesh, charged Rs 25-30 lakhs per transplant. The mastermind of the operation was identified as a Bangladeshi national named Russell. The accused had conducted 15-16 operations over the past few years. Among those arrested was a 50-year-old woman doctor associated with Apollo Hospital. Amit Goel, DCP Crime Branch, confirmed the arrests.
