Delhi NIA Court Grants Interim Bail to Baramulla MP Engineer Rashid Till October 2

Delhi's Patiala House Court has deferred the pronouncement of the order on the regular bail application of Baramulla MP Engineer Rashid to October 5. Rashid, who is currently on interim bail set to expire on October 2, was granted interim bail by a Delhi NIA court on September 10 to campaign for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. Rashid was released from Tihar Jail after the court's decision. The court has imposed conditions on his release, including a prohibition on speaking to the media about the case. Rashid's interim bail follows his incarceration for 5.5 years on charges related to a terror funding case.
