Delhi Govt Seeks Supreme Court, Centre Help for Water Supply Amid Heatwave Crisis

The petition filed by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government requests that Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh provide additional water for at least one month. This move comes as Delhi faces increased water demand exacerbated by a heatwave. The plea highlights the urgent need for more water to address the shortage and ensure adequate supply for residents. The Delhi government has also reached out to the Centre, and AAP leader Atishi has been involved in the efforts.
