Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was released from Tihar Jail on conditional bail, prompting celebrations by AAP workers who burst firecrackers on a massive scale outside his residence. This act has drawn criticism from the BJP, pointing out the irony as the Delhi government recently imposed a comprehensive ban on firecrackers till January 1, 2025, to combat winter pollution. Following his release, Kejriwal, accompanied by his wife Sunita Kejriwal, former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, and AAP MP Sanjay Singh, visited the Hanuman Temple in Connaught Place to offer prayers and seek blessings. Kejriwal's wife expressed gratitude, stating, 'Hanuman Baba has fulfilled my wishes.'
