Delhi's AAP leaders, including Saurabh Bhardwaj and Cabinet Minister Atishi, have accused the CBI of conspiring to mislead the Supreme Court regarding an affidavit in Arvind Kejriwal's case. The controversy centers around the actions of Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Vinai Saxena, who allegedly directed the expansion of a road, necessitating the cutting of trees without the required permissions. Bhardwaj questioned Saxena's awareness of the legal requirements, highlighting that the LG has been in office for over two years. The Supreme Court had asked DDA officials to confirm in an affidavit whether the LG visited the areas where trees were cut.
