Disney's 'Deadpool & Wolverine' continues to dominate the box office, securing the top spot for the sixth consecutive weekend. The film, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, grossed $19.47 million over the Labor Day weekend, bringing its total domestic earnings to $603.81 million. This achievement makes it only the 16th film in history to surpass $600 million domestically. Internationally, 'Deadpool & Wolverine' has amassed $658.4 million, contributing to a global total of $1.26 billion. Meanwhile, 'Alien: Romulus', another Disney/20th Century release, grossed $11.51 million domestically over the same weekend, with a total domestic gross of $90.95 million. The film's worldwide earnings have reached $285 million, with $195 million coming from international markets. 'Alien: Romulus' had a production budget of $80 million.
