Oct 2, 2024, 08:06 PM
The Metropolitan Police Department announced the arrest of a man in connection with a felony threats offense in Northwest Washington, D.C. The suspect is believed to be the "College Park Cuddler" or "Georgetown Cuddler," a serial rapist accused of repeatedly breaking into women's homes and sexually assaulting them between 2006 and 2012. The assaults occurred in Georgetown and near the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. Authorities suspect the man may have committed dozens more crimes during that period. D.C. police and federal law enforcement officials made the announcement, potentially closing several cold case sexual assaults in the District and Maryland.
