VisitDAZN to Broadcast FIFA Club World Cup 2025 for Free, Securing $1 Billion Deal
Dec 4, 2024, 03:27 PM
FIFA has entered into a landmark agreement with DAZN, the world's largest sports streaming platform, to exclusively broadcast the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 globally. This deal, reportedly worth $1 billion and potentially funded by Saudi Arabia, will see all 63 matches of the tournament, involving 32 of the best clubs worldwide like Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Chelsea, available for free viewing on DAZN's platform. The event, set to take place from June 15 to July 13 in the United States, will be accessible to a broader audience worldwide without subscription fees. Despite the partnership with Bank of America, the broadcast rights for the tournament were initially unclear. DAZN's agreement with FIFA includes the possibility of sublicensing to other broadcasters, marking a significant shift in how major football tournaments are consumed.
