VisitDallas Cowboys Legend Larry Allen Dies at 52 While on Vacation

Larry Allen, the legendary offensive lineman for the Dallas Cowboys and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, passed away suddenly on Sunday at the age of 52 while on vacation in Mexico with his family. Allen, who also spent his final two NFL seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, was widely regarded as one of the greatest offensive linemen in NFL history. During his illustrious career, he was an 11-time Pro Bowl selection, a 7-time First-Team All-Pro, and a Super Bowl champion. Allen was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013 and is remembered for his incredible strength and athleticism, including a famous bench press of 225 pounds for 43 reps at the Pro Bowl. He was also a member of the Cowboys Ring of Honor. He is survived by his wife, his son, and two daughters.
