Crystal Company Helicopter Crashes in Kedarnath During Mi-17 Airlift; No Injuries

A helicopter crash occurred in Kedarnath, Uttarakhand, on August 31, 2024. The incident involved a defective Crystal company helicopter being airlifted by an Mi-17 aircraft to the Gauchar airstrip for repair work. The crash happened at around 7:00 AM when the towing rope snapped, causing the helicopter to fall mid-air near Rambada on the Kedarnath route. The helicopter had previously made an emergency landing due to a technical fault on May 24, 2024. Fortunately, no damage or injuries were reported in the crash.
