VisitCraig Melvin Named 'Today' Co-Anchor with Savannah Guthrie, Replacing Hoda Kotb in January 2025

Craig Melvin, a veteran NBC News host who currently co-anchors the 9 a.m. hour of 'Today,' has been named the new co-anchor of the network's flagship 'Today' show, succeeding Hoda Kotb. Melvin, who has been with NBC News for nearly 14 years, will join Savannah Guthrie for the 7 and 8 a.m. hours starting in January 2025. Hoda Kotb, who announced her departure in September after nearly two decades with NBC News, will have her final day on the show on January 10. The announcement was made during the morning broadcast on November 14.
