The re-issue of the stop-motion film 'Coraline' by Fathom Events and LAIKA has become the highest-grossing stop-motion animated film of all time, surpassing 'Chicken Run' (2000). Over the recent 4-day weekend, 'Coraline' grossed $4.23 million from 1,159 locations, including $1.12 million on Monday, bringing its total domestic re-issue gross to $30.49 million and its lifetime total domestic gross to $114.18 million. Globally, 'Coraline' has crossed $230 million, making it the highest-grossing stop-motion film worldwide. The film had a production budget of $60 million.
