The U.S. synchronized diving team, affectionately known as 'Cook'N Bacon', consisting of Kassidy Cook and Sarah Bacon, secured the first American medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The duo clinched a silver medal in the women's 3-meter synchronized diving event with a score of 314.64 points. Kassidy Cook hails from The Woodlands, Texas, while Sarah Bacon is an Indianapolis native and a graduate of Cardinal Ritter High School. Their victory marks a significant achievement, especially after missing out on the Tokyo Olympics.
