Colorado Buffaloes defeated the Cincinnati Bearcats 34-23, becoming bowl eligible for the first time since 2016. Quarterback Shedeur Sanders extended his streak to 44 consecutive games with a touchdown pass, becoming the first player in Colorado history with two seasons of at least 20 touchdown passes. Sanders threw 3-yard and 34-yard touchdown passes to Travis Hunter and ran for a 4-yard score. Travis Hunter had a standout game with nine receptions for 153 yards and two touchdowns on offense, and contributed two tackles and four pass breakups on defense. Kicker Alejandro Mata added a crucial 47-yard field goal late in the game. With this victory, Colorado improved to 6-2 overall and 4-1 in the Big 12 conference under second-year head coach Deion Sanders, drawing an attendance of 53,202. The Buffaloes have now won their most games in a season since 2016 and remain in contention for the Big 12 title game.
