China is advancing its mission to land astronauts on the Moon by 2030, as announced by the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) at a press conference on Tuesday. The initiative includes comprehensive research and construction efforts, with the development and testing of prototypes for the Long March-10 carrier rocket, the Mengzhou manned spacecraft, the Lanyue lunar lander, lunar rover candidates, and spacesuits. The lunar rover candidates are currently in the prototype development phase, and the public is invited to participate in naming the finalists until November 30. The project aims to have two taikonauts conduct scientific research on the Moon using a lunar rover. The latest design for the spacesuit was released by CMSA, according to GCTN.
