Claudia Arlett Espino Named INE Secretary Executive, Second Most Important Role

Claudia Arlett Espino has been appointed as the new Secretary Executive of Mexico's National Electoral Institute (INE), following approval by the General Council. The position, considered the second most important and the most significant operational role within the institute, was proposed by INE President Guadalupe Taddei. Espino, a former head of the Electoral Institute of Chihuahua (OPLE), brings extensive academic and professional experience to the role. During an extraordinary session, the council reviewed her qualifications, and the INE President expressed confidence in her ability to uphold the institution's values. Espino has officially taken the oath of office.
