VisitCincinnati's Dontay Corleone Out Indefinitely with Blood Clots from Non-Football Illness
Jun 28, 2024, 05:08 PM
Cincinnati Bearcats star defensive tackle Dontay Corleone is out indefinitely after being diagnosed with blood clots in his lungs. The blood clots were discovered after Corleone reported chest discomfort and shortness of breath to University of Cincinnati trainers. He spent a night at UC Medical Center and is now recovering at home. Corleone, a third-team All-American in 2022 and second-team All-Big 12 performer in 2023, is in good health and working on a treatment plan with the program's medical staff. He expressed gratitude to his family and the University of Cincinnati medical team for their support. The condition is related to a non-football illness.
