However, the report does not provide evidence to back up this claim. The incident, which occurred on 2 May, involved over two hundred officers and 57 'less lethal' shots, some of which were allegedly fired illegally according to footage. The report has faced criticism, including from a US lieutenant, for its lack of substantiating evidence.
