China has urged the European Union to revoke sanctions imposed on Chinese firms linked to Russia's defense sector. The Chinese Foreign Ministry stated that it has made solemn representations to the EU regarding the sanctions. The EU imposed these sanctions on 19 Chinese companies, accusing them of supporting Russia's war effort in Ukraine.
