China Unveils GL-6 Active Protection System and 40mm Mini-Rocket with 2-3 km Range and 290g Warhead

China has recently showcased its advanced military technology, including the GL-6 active protection system designed to safeguard armored vehicles from precision-guided munitions. This system is capable of intercepting infrared and laser-guided anti-tank missiles, enhancing the effectiveness of the People's Liberation Army (PLA). Technical footage from full-scale tests indicates that the GL-6 is more accurate and generates smaller explosions compared to existing systems. Additionally, a compact missile system was demonstrated, featuring a 40mm mini-rocket with a firing range of 2 to 3 kilometers and a warhead weight of 290 grams.
