China has announced the imposition of anti-dumping duties on halogenated butyl rubber from the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Singapore. The duties will range from 23.1% to 75.5% and will be in effect for a five-year period, beginning on Tuesday. This move, announced by China's Ministry of Commerce, is seen as a measure to protect its domestic industry amid ongoing trade tensions. Concurrently, the European Union has been targeting Chinese products, with biodiesel being the latest focus, further escalating trade disputes between China and the EU.
