China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) announced on Tuesday that it will extend anti-dumping tariffs on hydriodic acid (also known as hydroiodic acid) imports from the United States and Japan for an additional five years, starting from October 16, 2024. The decision follows a recent review which concluded that lifting the tariffs could lead to continued dumping, potentially harming the domestic industry.
