China Discovers Ultra-Large Uranium Deposit in Jingchuan Area of Ordos Basin, First in Aeolian Sandstone

China has announced a major discovery of a substantial uranium deposit in the Jingchuan area of the Ordos Basin, located in the northwestern part of the country. This deposit is noted as the world's first ultra-large uranium deposit found in a region dominated by aeolian sandstone, according to the China Geological Survey under the Ministry of Natural Resources. Experts believe this discovery will enhance the security of uranium resources in China and open new avenues for uranium exploration in the country.
