China has delivered its largest offshore wind turbine installation vessel, the Ganghangping-5, in Qingdao, Shandong. This mega self-propelled and self-elevated vessel boasts a record lifting height of 200 meters above the water surface. The vessel is designed to transport, store, and install two 20MW and above turbines at a maximum depth of over 70 meters. It features a lifting capacity of 1800 tons and a lifting height of 168 meters, making it a significant advancement in offshore wind technology.
