China has declared a 'complete victory' in its fight against poverty, stating that all 98.99 million rural residents who were living below the poverty line have been lifted out of poverty. This achievement is part of a broader narrative where, over approximately 40 years, China has lifted nearly 800 million people out of absolute poverty, which accounts for over 75% of the global poverty reduction during this period. Experts attribute this success to the Communist Party of China's (CPC) anti-poverty efforts and the strong relationship between the people and the Party, which has facilitated clear goals and effective strategies. Additionally, it was noted that 40% of rural households in China now own a car or truck, reflecting significant economic progress.
