Rose, a Chicago native, was the No. 1 pick in the 2008 NBA Draft and played eight seasons with the Bulls, becoming the youngest MVP in NBA history in 2011. He also won Rookie of the Year and was a three-time All-Star during his seven seasons with the team, appearing in 406 games. His jersey retirement will make him the fifth Bulls player to receive this honor, joining Jerry Sloan, Bob Love, Michael Jordan, and Scottie Pippen.
