Reports have emerged alleging that Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has tested positive for meldonium, a banned substance, during a doping test. The prohibited substance was reportedly found in his 'A' sample collected at the end of October, and the 'B' sample is expected to be opened in the coming days to confirm or invalidate the results. The Football Association has notified Mudryk of the adverse finding, and he has been provisionally suspended from football after missing the last five games. Mudryk stated, 'I have never knowingly used any banned substances or broken any rules.' Chelsea has confirmed the FA's notification and expressed support for the player. If confirmed, Mudryk could face a suspension of up to four years.
