VisitChechen Leader Kadyrov Accuses Elon Musk of Remotely Disabling Gifted Cybertruck Used in Ukraine War
Sep 20, 2024, 08:40 AM
Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of Russia's Chechnya region, has accused Elon Musk of remotely disabling a Tesla Cybertruck that Kadyrov claimed to have received as a gift from Musk. Kadyrov stated that the vehicle had been equipped with a machine gun and was being used in Russia's war against Ukraine. Despite Musk's denial of gifting the Cybertruck, Kadyrov asserted that he had sent two more Cybertrucks, also armed, to the front lines in Ukraine. Kadyrov praised the performance of the Western equipment in combat, highlighting the mobility and maneuverability of the Cybertrucks. Musk has not confirmed any involvement in the matter.
