Chandrababu Naidu, the chief of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), has been elected as the upcoming Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Naidu announced that all MLAs from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jana Sena, and TDP have given their consent for his leadership. In his statement, Naidu also confirmed that Amaravati will be the capital of Andhra Pradesh.
