The Celestia Foundation, known for its blockchain data-availability project, has successfully raised $100 million in a new funding round led by Bain Capital Crypto on September 23, 2024. This latest investment brings the total amount raised by Celestia to $155 million. The funding round also saw participation from Syncracy Capital, 1kx, Robot Ventures, and Placeholder. Following the announcement, the price of Celestia's token, TIA, surged by 14%. The funds will be used to scale Celestia's modular blockchain network, which allows developers to deploy high-throughput, customizable applications.
