Jul 10, 2024, 11:17 PM
CBS Studios has reached a $3 million settlement with the Writers Guild of America West (WGAW) over a labor dispute. The settlement resolves an arbitration claim regarding work done by WGAW members after writers rooms were closed on three series. The WGAW argued that CBS owed payments to 24 writers under the guild’s Minimum Basic Agreement. The settlement includes fees and benefit payments owed to the writers under the Minimum Basic Agreement.
