CBP Seizes 90 Giant African Land Snails at Detroit Airport

For the second time in as many years, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at Detroit Metropolitan Airport have confiscated a significant number of Giant African Land Snails. A total of 90 snails were seized from a passenger arriving from Ghana. The CBP's Office of Field Operations in Detroit confirmed the incident.
