Oct 31, 2024, 01:12 AM
LeBron James and his son Bronny James played together for the second time on Wednesday night as the Los Angeles Lakers faced the Cleveland Cavaliers in Cleveland. This marked Bronny's first game in Cleveland as an NBA player, returning to his hometown where he was born in Akron, Ohio. The Cavaliers, recognizing LeBron's legacy as a former star and 2016 champion with the team, honored the father-son duo with a tribute video during the first timeout. The crowd gave Bronny a warm reception, including chants of 'We want Bronny!' during the game. Bronny James scored his first NBA points with a 14-foot jumper in the fourth quarter, to the delight of the Cleveland crowd. The Cavaliers defeated the Lakers 134-110, improving their season record to 5-0. Evan Mobley led the Cavaliers with 25 points, shooting 12-for-16 from the field, and grabbing 5 rebounds in just 18 minutes of play.
