Caroline Kennedy Calls Cousin RFK Jr. a 'Predator,' Urges Senate to Reject HHS Nomination Over Vaccine Views
Caroline Kennedy, the daughter of former President John F. Kennedy and a former U.S. ambassador, has written a letter to U.S. senators urging them to reject the nomination of her cousin, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as Secretary of Health and Human Services. In the letter, Kennedy describes Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as a "predator" who is "addicted to attention and power." She criticizes his views on vaccines as "dangerous and willfully misinformed," alleging that he vaccinated his own children while discouraging other parents from vaccinating theirs. Kennedy also claims that he preys on the desperation of parents of sick children and lacks any relevant government, financial, management, or medical experience. The confirmation hearings are scheduled for Wednesday.
