This discovery was made using the European Space Agency's Webb telescope. The finding indicates that black holes may undergo periods of rapid growth followed by long dormancy, challenging existing models of black hole development. The black hole's inactivity suggests that, similar to a post-feast nap, these cosmic entities can experience phases of gorging followed by extended periods of rest.
